James Spikes

James C. Spikes, (47) received his wings and went home to be with the LORD, on November 4, 2020. James was born March 18th, 1973 to James M.Noble Jr and Mary Ann Spikes. 

He attended Admiral King High school and loved sports.  He took an interest in wrestling and Marital Art like his father, James M. Noble Jr. He began a love for cutting hair when he was a teenager.  He had a special skill and became a master hair cutter and was so good at it that his family encouraged him to go pursue his cosmetology license as a barber.  He received  his license and was known in Lorain and surrounding areas as one of the best barber in town.  He had a great love for his children and as a father they brought him great JOY!

He leaves to mourn his passing two children, daughter Darian (Keith) Williams of Pickerington, Oh, son James C Spikes Jr. of Lorain, Oh, grandson, Darrius Sears, step-Father, Glen Jenkins Sr.  Lorain, Oh, sister, Ashaki N. Jenkins and brother Glen Jenkins Jr both of Lorain, Oh,;  nieces, Alayah, Victoria; ,nephews, Glenn III, and Ozaiah, and a host of Aunts, Uncles, Cousin, loving family members and friends. 

James was preceded in death by his father, James M. Noble Jr; mother Mary Ann (Spikes) Ballard; Step Father, Ray Ballard, paternal grandparents Aurthuretter(Rita) and James Noble Sr.; maternal grandparents, Margaret and Raymond Spikes

Friends may be received on Thursday, November 12, 2020 in the Carter Funeral Home Chapel/Lorain, 3001 Elyria Ave. A Walk-Thru will be from 4:00p.m. until 6:00 p.m., ONLY.  The Celebration of Life will held at Greater Victory Church, 559 Reid Ave. /Lorain, at 11:00 a.m. Burial will be at Elmwood Cemetery/Lorain. A repass for immediate family ONLY will be held at Privileged Events LCC, 4343 Colorado Ave., Sheffield, OH.
