James C Moore Sr

James C. Moore Sr. passed away on Monday, May 1, 2023, after a lengthy illness.

James was born in Peachtree, Georgia to the union of Lola Byars and Troy Moore on Sunday, December 28, 1930. James graduated from Gibson High School and joined the United States Marine Corps shortly after. James served in the Military for 4 years and received an Honorable Discharge. James was employed by Ford Motor Company for 30 years when he retired.

He leaves to cherish his memory one son, James C. Moore Jr. of Louisville, Kentucky and Daughter Lola R. Moore of Oakland, California. Sisters Tommie Lewis and Setta Moore of Cincinnati, Ohio, and Brother Al Moore also of Cincinnati, Ohio. Four Grandchildren and Five Great Grandchildren, a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, and family friends.

Services will be held on Monday May 15, 2023, at 12:0 pm at Resthaven Memory Gardens at 3700 Center Rd. Avon Ohio 44011
