JIMMIE S FENDERSON

Jimmie S. Fenderson 90 of Elyria, passed away at his home with family by his side on December 15, 2025. He was born February 24, 1935, in Demopolis AL, where he was a graduate of U.S. Jones High School. He relocated to Elyria, OH where he was a member of Jones Chapel Baptist Church.

He worked for General Motors for 35 years before retiring. 

He is survived by his son Kevin, daughters Angela (Ronnie) Sheppard, Lysia (Reginald) Moore of Elyria, Mellie Taylor of Cleveland, stepdaughter Sonia (George) Colvin of Lorain, grandchildren, and great grandchildren.

He is preceded in death by his wife Lilly Ann; parents, Spencer and Edna; three brothers, and five sisters.

The family will receive friends from 11am-12pm Saturday December 27, 2025, at Jones Chapel Baptist Church 343 17th St Elyria, OH, with the Celebration of Life to follow at 12pm.
