IRA P WASHINGTON

Ira P. Washington age 78 of Elyria, Ohio was called to rest on February 23rd, 2023.  Born March 1st, 1944, to Sam Little and Beatrice Little in Epes, Alabama.

Ms. Washington was retired from Nordson Co. located in Amherst after over 38 years of employment.

Ira was a very strong and inspirational woman in all her many roles as a mother, grandmother, aunt, cousin, and friend to name a few.

She is survived by her son Shannon and grandchildren Shawn, Jeremy, and Kristina Washington, many cousins, nephews, great grandchildren, other relatives, and friends.

Ms. Washington is preceded in death by her mother Beatrice Little, her sister Devonia Brown, brother Jerry Little and granddaughter Amani Mann.

Ms. Ira Washington will truly be missed.

Services will be held on March 2nd, 2023, at 10am-11am at Carter Funeral Home located at 3001 Elyria Ave Lorain, Ohio 44055. Burial will be at Rest Haven Memory Gardens located at 3700 Center Rd Avon, Ohio 44011.
