Frederick Lorenzo Trimble

Frederick Lorenzo Trimble lost his battle with cancer on Sunday, June 2, 2024. He was born February 26, 1963, in Winchester, Tennessee.

Frederick resided in Elyria with his mother where he became a lifelong resident. Fred was a 1981 Midview High School (Lagrange, OH) graduate where he excelled in Varsity Football and Basketball.  Upon graduation he was recruited by Miami University but declined the offer to take care of his mother. He attended Lorain County Community College and went on to graduate from Ohio Business College where he earned his associate degree in Computer Science.

Early on he went to work at Howard Johnson’s where he met the love his life Terry Porter, who he went on to later marry in 1999. They were blessed with two girls Whitney and Shelby. In Fred’s free time he enjoyed watching his favorite sports teams the Cleveland Browns and The Ohio State Buckeyes. He also enjoyed listening to music and spending time with family and friends.

Fred worked many years for Progressive Processing, then he later went to start his own business. Fred was the owner of A & F landscaping. He was also a member of Sidonia Lodge 93 Elyria, Ohio Free Mason's.

He is survived by his beautiful daughters Whitney Trimble of Elyria, OH and Shelby Trimble of Akron, OH, his siblings James Nathaniel Trimble of Winchester, TN, Cathy (Larry)Taylor Winchester, TN, JudyAnn (Patrick) Caldwell LaVergne, TN, Tabitha Whitman (Victor) Nashville, TN, James Alvin (Francine) Trimble Nashville, TN, and Janice Marie Trimble. Fred is also survived by a host of beloved aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, and cousins, along with endless family and friends who were all honored to know him.

Frederick is preceded in death by Maxine Allgood (Mother) and James Trimble (Father).

Fred impacted the lives of all who were around him, to know Fred was to love Fred. He will be deeply missed by all.

A viewing will be held on Friday June 14th, at 10am and a celebration of life to follow at 11am located at The Original Church of God 512 Edward St Elyria, OH.
