Ethel Mae Ball, 68 Passed away Saturday September 10th, 2022. She was born November 22nd, 1953, in Elyria OH. Her parents were Wiley Ball Sr. and Ethel Mae Ball.
She was a beloved wife, mother, and grandmother.
She attended Elyria High School and was employed by the city of Elyria as a Crossing Guard for over 30 years before retiring. She enjoyed traveling, having a good time, playing darts, and spending time with her grandchildren.
She is survived by her four sons William J. Griffin, Floyd J. Ball, James T. Ball Elyria in OH, and LaMar A. Ball in Tacoma, WA. Sisters Mrs. Bernice Cofield and Ms. Susan Ball.
23 grandchildren, numerous nieces, nephews, and cousins. She touched many lives as a mother, grandmother, through her job, as well as family and friends. She will be greatly missed.
She is preceded in death by her husband of 35 years, James E. Griffin, as well as her parents, and grandparents Freddie Ball and Rachel Ross.
Viewing services will be held Friday September 23rd, 2022, at 10:00 am until time of service at 11:00 am at Carter Funeral Home 127 W. Bridge St, Elyria, OH 44035
