Mrs. Ersie Beatrice (Bea) Milner (nee Jones), walked peacefully into her heavenly home in her best red suit and hat on Sunday, March 22nd, 2020 at the young age of 84.

She was the eldest of 10 children and as a child enjoyed cooking, making dolls, and milking cows on her Aunt Rachel’s farm. Ersie always loved taking care of other people and after completing her high school education, she trained to be a nurse’s aide. Having served on the usher board, nurses guild, senior choir, a mother of the church, and church sunday school secretary.
She also enjoyed working at the Lorain County Board of Elections. Over the years she thoroughly enjoyed 25 years of league bowling with her friends from Grobe’s Fruit Farm. Bea loved to crochet, traveling every chance she could, completing puzzles, painting ceramics, watching her soap operas (channel 8 only), Wheel of Fortune, Jeopardy and she later added Family Feud to her list of favorites. She was particularly proud of the fact that she, well into her 70’s, learned how to knit from her dear friend Gayle Ford. It was learned later that she also enjoyed writing poetry.
