Ernest Cornwell Jr. 65, passed away peacefully at Mercy Medical Center, Lorain. He was born on March 11, 1955 in Chester South, Carolina. Coming to Lorain 45 years ago. He was a member of Kingdom Hall, Lorain. He enjoyed riding motorcycles, classic cars, and concerts.

He will be sadly missed by his son, Ernest III and daughter, Verenstine both of Lorain; brothers, David (Pam) Cornwell, of Louisville, KY, Clarence and Herbert “Chuckie” (Doletha) Cornwell both of Lorain; sisters, Betty (George) McCall and Dianne both of Lorain; step-sisters, Virginia of Tennessee, Anita of Cleveland; 4 grandchildren, Breamana Carter, Janaya Jones, Alicia Cornwell and Jaxson Cornwell; and a host of nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by his daughter, Nikki Moye and parents, Ernest Sr.. and Alice.

Private family viewing will be held on Wednesday, December 30, 2020 and a public memorial service will be held at a later date. Social distancing and wearing of a face mask are required.
