Obituary
Elvia Gamble (nee; Donald) age 71 of Lorain went home to be with the Lord on Thursday July 21st, 2022, following a brief illness.
She was a faithful member of New Mt. Calvary Missionary Baptist Church in Lorain where she served in multiple ministries throughout the years. She enjoyed spending time with her family and friends. One of her favorite things to do was spending time with or talking on the phone with her Nunu (Harper Ford), shopping and watching her soap operas, she was known for 7up pound and caramel cakes.
Elvia will be sadly missed by her daughter Angela Banks (Willie), her brothers, Johnny Donald (Mary Louise) of Elyria, Woodie Donald (Jimmie) of Lorain; her sister Mary Gardner of Lorain; host of nieces, nephews and other loving relatives and friends.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Haywood, and Pennie Donald (nee Johnson); her sister Pearl Fenderson, brothers John Ward, Joseph Donald, Haywood Donald, Prince Donald, Redding Donald, Herbert Pearce, Jim Pearce, and Willie George Donald.
Viewing will be held Monday August 1st, 2022, 10am until time of the “Celebration of Life” at 11am at Mt. Calvary Missionary Baptist Church 2340 Crehore Street, Lorain, Ohio 44052. Officiating Minister Dana Capers.
