Edward Charles Jones Jr. was born July 7, 1981, in Elyria, Ohio to Denise Wright and Edward Jones Sr. He transitioned from this life into eternal rest on October 6, 2022.

Edward was educated in the Elyria Public School system and completed his studies with a GED.  He lived in Elyria most of his life.

Edward enjoyed cooking, sports, Nintendo, play station, spending time with his family and friends and using his hands to do handiwork.

He lived in Columbus, Ohio for a short time and worked at Bob Evans.  He also lived in Charlotte, North Carolina and worked at Denny’s.  Edward was a good cook and often cooked at family gatherings.

Edward leaves to cherish his memory his mother, Denise Wright (Elyria); his father, Edward Jones Sr., (Lorain); his son, Zyion Jones (Lorain); his daughter, Za’nyla Jones (Lorain); brothers, Jerry Boone (Elyria), Darius Boone (Columbus), James Myrick (Lorain); sister, Rolanda Wright (Columbus); paternal grandmother, Lucile Jones; a special Aunt, Jacqueline “Jackie” Major (Lorain), aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews and a host of other relatives and friends, and three special friends, Jamaal Harvey (Elyria), Mark Hill (Elyria), and Richard Oliver (Elyria).

Edward was proceeded in death by his maternal grandparents, Fred D. Fitzpatrick, and Anna Lois Fitzpatrick; and paternal grandfather, Verble Jones Sr.

Services will be held Friday October 21st, 2022, with viewing at 10am until time of service at 11am at Fairfield Baptist Church 2002 E 28th St. Lorain, Ohio 44055.
