EVA LEE YOUNG

Eva Lee Young, a shining star, was born on September 17, 1960, and transitioned to eternal life on December 8, 2025, after a courageous battle with illness. Born in Lorain, Ohio, she spent many years in Cleveland, Ohio, spreading love and joy.

As a student at Lorain High School, she excelled in track and field, showcasing her remarkable talent. Her passions included dancing, cooking, and cherishing time with family, and her radiant smile could illuminate any room.

With a heart full of positivity, she was a devout believer in God Almighty, and her faith guided her every step. She proudly took her Shahadah and Christian Baptism, trusting in God's unwavering love and protection. Eva's remarkable faith inspired those around her, and she embodied the power of God's presence in her life.

 She was preceded in death by her loving mother, Myeisha Abdul-Rahman, her father, John (Thomas) Wilson, and her brother, Paris Wilson, as well as her cherished aunties, Dora Nelson and Beverly Lucky, and numerous other family members.

 Eva leaves behind a legacy of love through her three sisters, Appril Grant-Portis, Sharn Wilson, and Adrienne (Queema) Easter, as well as her two brothers, John Young and Demann Wilson. Her eleven children, Dorian, (Jesse) Young, Tyce, Sheritta Young, John Young, Joel Young, Laquita Brown, Tanisha Young, Khadija Young, Leo Young, and Lachelle Talbert, (twins) Ayana Young and Amira Young, will forever cherish her memory, along with her ten beautiful grandchildren, numerous nieces, nephews, and beloved cousins.

Eva's heart was deeply connected to her best friends, Jacqueline Thomas and Marzetta Taylor. When Eva loved, she loved unconditionally, and her love will continue to inspire and uplift those who knew her.

Though she may be absent from our physical presence, we take comfort in knowing she is now present with God. We extend our heartfelt gratitude to all the family and friends, we love and appreciate you all.
