Dorothy Larkins

Dorothy Jeane Larkins was born on May 13th, 1939 to Charles R. Beane and Edna Louise Fitzpatrick in Elyria, Ohio. She was the fifth of seven children.

 Dorothy Larkins was a graduate from Midview high school in 1959. She met and married Azell Larkins. To this union, were born 4 children: Antonio Azell, Carmalita, Zachary Van, and Tryntje Jeane.

 Dorothy Larkins served as a sunday school teacher, sung in the missionary choir, taught the youth, and was fully active in the church overall. She was a devoted housewife, mother, and aunt to her own as well as so many others.

 Dorothy Larkins leaves to cherish her husband of 63 years, Richard Azell Larkins of Elyria, Ohio,  Carmalita Larkins-Crocket(David) of Columbus, Ohio,  Zachary V. of Indianapolis, Indiana, And Tryntje J. of Elyria, Ohio;  6 grandchildren, 11 great grandchildren, and 2 great-great grandchildren;  and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.

Dorothy was proceeded in death by her son, Antonio Azell, her parents Charles R. and Edna L., two sisters and three brothers.

Family and Friends will be received on June 30th, 2021 in the Greater Christ Temple, 123 Oberlin Road Elyria, Ohio 44035. A walk-thru will begin at 10:00AM until 11:00AM. The “Celebration of Life” will follow at 11:00AM. Burial will be at Brookdale Cemetery/Elyria.  Repast to follow at 2:00pm at Marcel Hall, 117 Oberlin Road Elyria, Ohio 44035.
