Dorothy "Dot" Mason

Dorothy “Dot” Mason was born February 22, 1946 in Blue Diamond, KY to Charles Rhodes and Louise Woods migrating to Oberlin, OH in 1946. Mrs. Mason was employed as a machine operator for Grand Rapids Plastics, Lescoa, Meridian Manufacturing of Grand Rapids, MI retiring after 25 years. She was a member of Mt. Zion Missionary Baptist Church, Grand Rapids, MI serving as Church Mother. Dorothy was also an active member of Club Cruisers for more than 15 years. She departed this life on Thursday, December 2, 2021 at home. She leaves to cherish her loving memory, her children, Pam (Mike) of Muskegon, MI, Rick of Kirkland, WA, Chris (Nikki) of Grand Rapids, MI, Regina of Atlanta, GA, Jack Jr. (Deannette) of Grand Rapids, MI., Charles (Kim) of Papillion, NE, 22 Grandchildren and 17 Great Grandchildren and a host of nieces and nephews to whom she was more of a sister than an aunt. She was preceded in death by her husband, Jack Mason Sr.; parents Charles Rhodes and Louise Woods and beloved sisters Lois Maple and Francitta Hodges.
