Doris Woods Obituary

Doris Sue Woods went to be with the Lord on June 2, 2022, after fighting a long-time illness.
Doris who was born on November 30, 1947, in Elyria, Ohio. She resided in Elyria all of her life. After graduation, Doris went to cosmetology school as well as Ohio business college to receive a degree in business administration. Doris was married to Jackie Woods for 16 years and during their union she had six children.

She leaves behind sons Shawn (Iris) Woods of Atlanta, GA, Alfonso, Dana & Jack Woods all of Elyria, Ohio. Daughters Crystal (Tracy) & Cynthia Woods of Elyria, OH. She also leaves behind her sister Jennifer Brown of Elyria, OH. 21 grandchildren and 34 great grandchildren & a host of nieces, nephews & cousins.

Doris Sue Woods was preceded in death by her parents James Gordon and Eloise Brown. Her maternal grandparents Carey and Mattie Brown. Her sister Connie Stover. Aunts Carrie Roddy and Betty Jo Johnson and Uncle Harrom Brown.

Viewing will be held Tuesday June 14th, 2022, from 10:00 am until time of service at 11:00 am at Carter Funeral Home 127 Bridge St. Elyria Ohio 44035, Officiating Pastor Thomas Harris Jr.
