Doris Elaine Huel

A beautiful flower, Sis. Doris Elaine Huel was selected by God to be added to his heavenly bouquet on June 19th, 2023.

Doris (Doll) was born to the late Al Lee Huel and Georgia Lee Green Bonner on April 10, 1955, in Manchester, GA. Graduating from Admiral King High School in Lorain, Ohio in 1972.

Doris was a kind and classy lady with a loving spirit, who enjoyed spending time with her family. She worked hard to give her daughter the best home life she could and helped raise her grandchildren. She loved R&B music, dancing, taking pictures, writing poems, yardwork, being outside and decorating.

Her transition was preceded by her four siblings: Carolyn Bonner, Agnes Waller, Michael Waller and James Bonner.

She leaves a loving and precious daughter to treasure her memories, Lashunda Huel (Wesley Charlton), three amazing grandsons: James Williams, Marvin Jones and Pete Jones, and an adorable great granddaughter Aaliyah Williams.

She also leaves seven siblings: Arthur Bonner, Warren (Patricia) Hill, Constance Leonard, Alan (Gail) Parker, Alfredia (Leroy) Terry, Spencer Huel, Simone (David) Adam. Her closest friend who was like a sister from another mother, Belinda Windham (and family), They are her Ohio family, many nieces, nephews, other family members and friends who will miss her dearly.

There will be a memorial held on Saturday July 22nd, 2023, at 12 noon located at Carter Funeral Home 3001 Elyria Ave Lorain, Ohio 44055.
