Dora Ann Curry

Dora Ann Curry went home to be with the Lord on August 11, 2023 after a brief illness. Dora 78, passed away at Life Care in Elyria, Ohio. Dora was born in Murray, Kentucky to the late Curly Martin and the late Birdie Mae Hopewell (Greenwade).

Dora was a graduate of Elyria High School. She was a retired production worker with Oatey Company in Cleveland, Ohio. Dora enjoyed cooking and shopping.

Dora was preceded in death by her husband Henry Curry, father Curly Martin, mother Birdie Mae Hopewell and sister Brenda Buffington.

She leaves to cherish her memories her son Patrick Curry, brothers: Jim (Helen) Buffington Jr. and Eric Buffington, sisters: Brenda Brown and Lyn Knowles, along with a host of nieces and nephews.

Visitation will be on Monday August 21st, 2023, at 10am and a celebration of life to follow at 11am at the Carter Funeral Home located at 127 W Bridge St. Elyria, Ohio.
