Delores Stovall 67 of Oberlin, went home to be with the Lord on December 24, 2020 following a short illness.She was born November 1, 1953 in Elyria, Ohio.
She was employed at the Elyria Country Club for many years and EMH Medical Center in Elyria. She was a member of Greater Christ Temple Apostolic Church of Elyria. She enjoyed spending time with family and friends, cooking, reading and listening to gospel music.
She will be sadly missed by her daughter Belinda Smith (Taylor) and her two sons,Mark Taylor and Melvin Taylor; her step-children Everic Taylor, Craig Stovall,
Jamin Stovall, Jordan Stovall, and Jasmine Stovall; 19 grandchildren and 13 great grandchildren; sisters Marilyn D. Anderson, Sylvia S. Whitaker, and Clara Whitaker; brothers James F. and Charles E. Whitaker and a host of nieces, nephews, uncles, aunts, cousins, and a God mother of 2.
She was preceded in death by her Husband Willie R. Stovall; Parents; James D.and Gladys Whitaker; sister Annie A. Whitaker; brother Arthur Whitaker; material grandparents; Robert and Leona Knight , paternal grandparents; James Dallas Whitaker, Sr. And Annie Whitaker (Taylor).
Friends may call Saturday January 16, 2021 at Carter Funeral Home, 3001 Elyria Avenue, Lorain, OH 44055. A walk-thru viewing will be held from 1:30-2:30pm. A private memorial service for immediate family only will be held at 3pm. Socialdistancing and wearing a face mask will be required.
