Clarence A. Cornwell (Cornbread), 62 of Lorain, Ohio went home to be with the Lord on December 3rd, 2023, in his home surrounded by family. He was born in Chester, South Carolina on August 6th, 1961, to Alice F. Land and Ernest Cornwell Sr.
Clarence worked for Goodwill. He enjoyed riding his bike, playing music, D-J-ing, and being with family and friends. He loved to make EVERYONE happy! His favorite sports teams are the Cleveland Browns and the Cleveland Cavaliers.
Clarence belonged to Shiloh Missionary Church of Lorain, Ohio where Bishop Peter Tower is the Pastor.
Clarence will be sadly missed by his Sons: Clarence Cornwell Jr. of Lorain, Patrick Trebrack of Toledo, Daughters: Ashleyn Manera of Swanton, OH, Kasey Bennett of Lorain, OH Dehila Garza of Detroit, MI, Fiancé Tannika (Nikki) Frazier of Lorain, OH, Brothers: David (Pam) Cornwell of Louisville, KY, and Minister Charles (Doletha) Cornwell of Lorain, OH, Sisters: Betty (George) McCall and Dianne Kelson both from Lorain, OH, Step-sisters: Anita of Cleveland and Virginia of Tennessee, as well as a host of Nieces, Nephews, and Grandchildren.
Clarence was preceded in death by his Brother Ernest Cornwell Jr., Daughter- Evet Horton, Mother- Alice F. Willis, Nephew- William A. Kelson, Sister- Mary Cornwell, Step-Father- Andrew Willis and Father Ernest Cornwell Sr.
A viewing will be held on Saturday December 9th, 2023, at Shiloh Missionary Baptist Church 3900 Clifton Ave Lorain, OH 44055 at 8:00am with a celebration of life to begin at 10am.
