Chris Abram

Chris Abram 66 of Elyria, Ohio passed away July 2nd, 2022, following lengthy illness he was born March 15th, 1956, to the late Edward Abram Sr. and Fannie Lee Smith-Abram.

Chris AKA” Slick” grew up in a happy close family, Chris was the baby of 8 children, 4 boys and 4 girls. He was educated in Elyria School Systems; Chris Abram was a member of Mount Zion Baptist Church in Elyria where he was Baptized at an early age.

Chris enjoyed sports playing football and watching Cleveland Browns and the Cleveland Guardians (Indians), he was into playing Ohio Lottery scratch off tickets, bingo, and the casinos.

He leaves to cherish his memories his Stepmother Sandra Abram of Elyria, Ohio, Siblings Mary Abram of Elyria, Ohio, Patricia Abram of Indianapolis, Indiana Shelvie Shumate-Speight of Durham N.C., Latio Stafford of Louisville KY. Host of nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.

He was preceded in death by; his parents Edward Abram Sr. and Fannie Lee-Smith, his Paternal and maternal grandparents, Brothers Lambert Smith, Hubert Abram and Edward Abram Jr., Sisters Lesteen Abram and Glaceira Abram.

Viewing will be held on Friday July 22nd, 2022, at 10:00 am until time of service at 11:00am at Mount Zion Missionary Baptist Church 632 West River Rd, N Elyria Ohio, Officiating is Pastor Calvin Curry.
