Queen Cheris Nicole Glinsey 42, of Lorain, Ohio gained her heavenly wings on September 1,2022, surrounded by family.
Cheris Glinsey was born to Debra R. Glinsey and Tommie L. Glinsey Sr. on February 20th, 1980, in Elyria, Ohio. Queen Cheris (CherryPie) Glinsey as she was affectionately known was a loving and care giving person. She was a beautiful social butterfly. She loved hard and was loved by many. Her inviting spirit was overwhelming, and her presence was overpowered only by her infectious smile. Queen Cheris (CherryPie) Glinsey was a Zulu Queen affiliated with the Zulu Nation. Cheris was also a part of the Ministry of Paster Allan and Rochelle Carter.
However, her greatest joy was her sons Ajonie Glinsey and Lavelle Baines who she nurtured and wrapped up with all her love and affection.
Cheris is survived by her husband Robbie Baines, Her sons Ajonie Glinsey and Lavelle Baines of Lorain, OH, Her mother Debra Glinsey of Lorain, OH, her 7 siblings Diana Rae (Ronald) Glinsey of Cleveland, OH, Maurice (Nicole) Glinsey of Lorain, OH, Tanya (Calvin) Pearcy of Cleveland, OH, Charrise (Kerry) Jefferson of Euclid, OH, Tommie Glinsey Jr. of Cleveland, OH , Dannetta Burnsworth of Montgomery, AL, Tommecca (Frank) Fryson of Amherst, OH and Vivian Noel and a host of Cousins, nieces, nephews, friends
Cheris was preceded in death by her son William Chapman, her Father Tommie Glinsey Sr., Maternal grandparents Elder W.H. Noel and Mother W.M. Noel and Paternal grandparents Earnest and Gladys Glinsey.
Walk-Thru service will be held Wednesday September 14th, 2022, 10:00am until time of service at 11:00am at Living Word Church 2002 East 28th St. Lorain, Oh 44052, Officiating Pastor Allan Carter.
