Charles Lennon Walker Jr. was born April  2 1960, to Charles L Walker Sr. And Florance Lucille Wheeter in Wilmington, Nc. 

   He is lived on through his father (Cynthia), mother, grandmother, 3 sisters, Judy Walker Page, Nephew Michael Jr. Cathleen Richardson, Janice Robinson (Samuel),Mother-in-law Lynn Roberts (Eddie), Inlaws including Eric Roberts (Diane), Edward Roberts, Eddie Williams Jr. (Roberta), Marvin Williams, Valerie Walker (Clyde), Regional Roberts,Extended family Raymond & Carrie Taylor (May they rest in heaven), and Sheila Brown . His 3 children Charles Walker III (Sakena), Curtis Walker (Jessica), Cheri Walker (John) , Shawn, Andrea, Monique Brown, Lateke Lavender (Teresa), James Taylor (Danielle) , Matthew Havel, and 17 grandchildren. He proceeded by his wife Verneatha Denise Orr Walker of 40 years. There is not enough time to name all that he has impacted, we'll suffice to say that he has never met an strang

     He graduated from John T. Hoggard High in 1978 then went to James Sprunt Community College and Wingate Community College. From there he enlisted into the USAF May 1980 to August 1983. After which he returned home to Wilmington, NC with his wife and eldest son. Charles worked as an electrical enginer at New Hanover Itosp, and also had the birth of Curtis (83) and Cheri (85). He lived there until 1993 when he moved with his wife and kids to Cleveland, Ohio, where he lived the remainder of his life with his family. 

    He retired shortly after his wife's passing on September of 2020. He then moved in with his daughter, until he left us to go home with his wife. 

     Charles is a great man, that always had an song in his heart, and a smile for everyone. Family is his life and he left an legacy with us all that knew him from young and old that will new be forgotten.
