Charles F Inman

Charles F. Inman, age 73, entered his eternal rest after a life filled with faith, service, and devotion. Born on November 12, 1952, to loving parents Frank and Helen Inman, he grew into a humble man who embodied kindness, integrity, and steady strength.

A true man of God, Charles served in many roles within the church community. He was Superintendent of Sunday School, a dedicated member of the Trustees Board, once a joyful member of the Progressive Choir, and a committed worker on the carpet and pew committee. He was also a faithful tithes payer, giving cheerfully until his health no longer allowed.

 Charles worked for the City of Elyria, where he retired after 30 years of dedicated service. Known for his reliability and strong work ethic, he took pride in serving his community.

 A lover of all sports, Charles especially enjoyed coaching Little League baseball for many years on the south side of Elyria, where he guided and inspired young athletes.

Charles leaves behind his devoted wife, Matilda (Alston) Inman. Children: Carlos (Sarah) Inman, Elyria Tony (Angie) Cofield, Vacaville, California Donna (Willie) Graham, Lorain Darryl Massey-Inman, Elyria Bonus Children: Tarus (Erica) Alston, Fayetteville, North Carolina Laketa Alston, Columbus, Ohio Brandy Alston, Columbus, Ohio Siblings: Michelle Thomas He is also survived by a host of grandchildren, great-grandchildren, nieces, nephews, family, and friends.

Charles was preceded in death by his parents, Frank and Helen Inman; three sisters, Yvonne Brown, Francine Henderson, and MayElla Broadas; and his first wife and mother of his children, Jeanette M. Inman. His life of service, faith, and love will forever remain in the hearts of those who knew him.

A visitation will be held for Charles on Friday December 19, 2025, at 10am with a Celebration of Life to begin at 11am located at Unity Missionary Baptist Church 326 Fuller Rd Elyria, OH.

Burial will be at Brookdale Cemetery 41600 Oberlin Elyria Rd Elyria, OH 44035.
