(Carrie) Jean Nolen-Church, 68 of Elyria, transitioned from this earthly life to eternal rest on Sunday December 11th, 2022.
Jean was born March 6,1954 in Elyria, Ohio to Anderson and Susie (Mayneida) Nolen.
She was educated in the Elyria City Schools. She worked various jobs as a machinist.
Jean is survived by her brothers Robert L. Gause of Denver, CO; Rev. James (Robin) Whitlow of Detroit, MI; Elder Paul (Addie) Nolen of Lorain, OH; Anderson Nolen Jr. of Lorain, OH; James Allen Nolen of Elyria; Sisters Shirley F. Nolen of Elyria and Denese (Donald) Flemmings of Laurel, MD; Aunt Lavada Maben of Elyria, and a host of nieces, nephews, and cousins.
She was preceded in death by her parents Anderson and Susie Nolen, sisters Elnora, Mary, and Patricia, and brother Eddie.
Services will be held Monday December 19th, 2022, family visitation will begin at 2pm with services following at 3pm at Good Shepherd Baptist Church, located at 244 9th St. Elyria, Oh with Rev. Larry D Harville officiating.
