Billy (PAP) Whitfield born on Tuesday, October 15, 1935 in Little Rock, Arkansas to the union of James Whitfield and Amy Jones.
Billy Whitfield lived in Oberlin, Ohio most of his life, later move to Lorain, Ohio. He transitioned from this earthly life on Monday, January 18th 2021.
He worked at Ford Plant where he retired after 35 years, and he loved spending time with his children and other family members. His first love was “Praising God.” He honor his position in the church as an usher and trustee committee. He enjoyed bowling, talking on his CB radio, movies, walking with his brother, riding his motorcycle, traveling, and all sports.
He leaves to cherish his memories his daughters, Tonia (Allen) Whitfield, Theresa (Ray) Cheers, Mary (Tony) Allison, and Katy Armstrong; sons, Billy (Delia) Whitfield, Eric (Carol) Whitfield, and Billy Armstrong; and 15 grandchildren, 4 great-children, and brother, John Whitfield.
He was preceded in death by his parents; James and Amy Whitfield; wife,Dianne Whitfield; sister, Sylvia Hodge; brothers; ex-wife, Maxine Whitfield; grandchildren, Desiree, Michael, and Toni Kapri.
A Walk-Thru will be held on Monday, January 25, 2021, in the Carter Funeral Home/ Elyria, 127 West Bridge Street, from 11:00 A.M. til 12:00 Noon, Service will start at 12:00 Noon.Social Distancing and Mask Required.
