Beatrice Taylor, 79 of Elyria, Ohio departed this life to be in the presence of the Lord Monday, November 9, 2020 at her home following a short illness.
She was born in Metcalf Mississippi to the union of Anderson and Mary Ella Brown. She moved to Elyria in 1962.
Ms. Taylor was employed with The Travelmart, Inc. until retiring after 17 years. She was a faithful member of Original Church of God, over the years she served on the Senior Usher board, Kitchen Committee, Outreach and was head of the Junior Usher board. She attended regularly Original Church of God Community Bible study and most recently served as a Trustee. Sister Taylor was always willing to help where needed and truly enjoyed being a servant of the Most High God.
Sister Taylor was a powerful prayer warrior. Her family and friends always knew they could call on her to pray with and for them. She enjoyed working in her yard, tending to her flowers, growing fresh vegetables and spending time talking with her family. Family was very, very important to her.
She leaves to cherish her memory; daughter, Beverly A. (Karlton) Wells, daughter, Rosalind D. Taylor of Elyria, Sister, Bernice (Arthur) Jenkins of Elyria, Sister, Addie Hayden of Greenville Mississippi, Brother, Willie Brown of Greenville, Mississippi. Two grandsons, two great granddaughters, nieces, nephews and a host of other relatives.
Sister Taylor was preceded in death by her parents, brother, Ruben, Sister, Lottie McSwain, and Sister Mildred Williams
Services will be held on Thursday, November 19, 2020, at ORIGINAL CHURCH OF GOD, 312 Edward Street, Elyria, Ohio 44035. A Walk-Thru from 10:00A.M. until 11:00A.M. and Service will begin at 11:00A.M Due to COVID-19 guidelines, you are required to wear a MASK and Social Distancing is a must.
