Barbara Ann Cole, the daughter of Henry and Ora Cole, was born on November 7, 1948. She departed her earthly home on Wednesday, March 2, 2022, after a brief illness. Raised in Ashtabula, Ohio, she graduated from Ashtabula Lakeside High School. At an early age she joined the Peoples Missionary Baptist Church in Ashtabula, Ohio where she wore many hats including her favorites as youth leader and choir director. She was a humble servant in the Union District of Northeast Ohio and the Ohio State and National Baptist Conventions.

In 2010, she traveled to Vilseck, Germany to work for the Department of Defense School Systems of Europe as a Technology Support Technician.

In 2010, she married Reverend Herman Tucker and moved to Perry, Florida where she joined the New Brooklyn Baptist Church. She directed the Perry community choir and the senior choir at New Bethlehem Missionary Baptist Church. She taught courses for the Certificate of Progress Program in the Taylor County Union, Barbara Tillman and Juanita Scott School of Christian Education.
