Aric Lakes

Aric Lakes 50 of Lorain, Ohio passed away unexpectantly Thursday September 7, 2018.

Born August 4, 1968. He was a long-life resident of Lorain and graduated from Clearview High School. He was employed at Flat rock where he retired after 20 plus years. Aric enjoyed music, playing cards, watching movies. Aric was fond of long car rides to the point of no return and spending time with family and friends. Aric was kind and loving. He had stories to share and gave advise when needed. He was a great role model for most. Aric was the type of person that would do anything for people.

Aric was actively involved with the marching band in high school where he played the drums. Aric lakes was loved by many and will be missed but never forgotten.

Aric is survived by his wife Cathy Lakes, parents Willie B. Lakes and Rosemary Lakes, Daughter Chanelle Wilson, step daughter Tina Simmons, son Marshall Griffin, Sister Anita, brothers Anthony and Willie Lakes, and a host of nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles, and cousins.

Friends may call Monday, September 17. 2018 in the Carter Funeral Home, Chapel, 3001 Elyria Ave, Lorain. From 11:00am until time of service at 12noon. Rev. Peter Tower of Shiloh  Baptist Church, Lorain will officiate.
