Anthony "Mr. West" Bernard Obituary

Anthony “Mr. West” Bernard West 72 of Lorain passed away peacefully Friday, April 30, 2021 at New Life Hospice following a long illness.

Born in Elyria and a graduate of Elyria High, Mr. West was a U.S. Veteran Serving the Army he was employed as a drug alcohol counselor at LCADA of Lorain Co. for many years.

Mr. West was an avid sports fan, Browns, Cavs and Indians and enjoyed watching western movies.

He leaves to cherish his loving memory: his wife Carlotta West (nee Rivera) of 13 yrs. son Anthony West of Columbus oh. Daughters Bianca West, Erma Jean Bennett, of Elyria oh, Kelly Bennett of Dayton oh, Sister, Sharon West and Brother, Craig (Frances) West of Elyria oh, 7 grandchildren and 1 great grandchild.

Anthony was proceeded in death by; Parents Wade and Luella West, Brother Danny West, Larry West; granddaughter Olivia Mounts.

Family and Friends may call on Friday, May 7, 2021, at Bethany Baptist Church, 334 west 17th Elyria, OH. A walk thru from 11:00AM until 1:00 PM. The “Celebration of Life” will begin at 1:00 PM. Please wear a mask and social distance.
