Anna Lois Fitzpatrick

Anna Lois Fitzpatrick departed this life Sunday, January 3, 2021 peacefully in her home surrounded by her family. Lois was a longtime resident of Elyria, Ohio and retired from Ridge Tool after many years of service.

She enjoyed cooking, entertaining, talking to her family and friends on the telephone, going to church and spending time with her loved ones. She was a member of Original Glorious Apostolic Church of Elyria where she was a member of the Mother’s Board.

She is survived by her daughter, Lois Denise Wright of Elyria; son, Garrett (Stephanie) Fitzpatrick of Lorain; sisters, Pastor Doris (Jimmy) Williams, Daisy Ross, Sharon “Kay” Taylor, Linda Ross, all of Elyria, and Brenda Blair-Ross of Columbus; special niece, Wanda Washington of Elyria; special caregivers, Karen Thorpe and Pam Thorpe, both of Elyria; grandchildren, Rolanda Wright of Columbus, Shalon Fulton, Fred Fitzpatrick III, Dionna Fitzpatrick, Phillp Fitzpatrick, all of Cincinnati, Edward Jones, Jerry Boone, Darius Boone, TraVaughn Fitzpatrick, all of Elyria, Fiona Caggiano of Cleveland, Alexis (great-grandson Ermias born 1/4/2021) Fitzpatrick, Aliyah Fitzpatrick and Brandon Rodriguez, all of Lorain, a host of great-grandchildren, nieces, nephews and other relatives and friends.

She was preceded in death by her son, Frederick Fitzpatrick, Jr.; grandson, Ja’syiah Boone; parents,  Jess and Ethel Ross; brothers Evan Cloud, Chester Ross, William Ross, Tommy Ross; sisters, Jessie Washington, Dorothy Logan; foster sister, Shirley Noble.

A walk-through visitation will be held Wednesday, January 13, 2021 from 10:00 am until 10:30 am at Carter Funeral Home, 127 West Bridge Street, Elyria and a graveside service will be at 11:00 am Resthaven Memory Gardens, Avon, OH. Pastor Doris Williams will give ‘Words of Comfort.’ Due to COVID-19 guidelines, you are REQUIRED to wear a MASK and Social Distancing is necessary.
