Adam Pernell Mackey

Adam Pernell Mackey passed away on March 30, 2026, after a long battle with chronic illnesses. He gained his wings and now walks with the angels.

Adam was educated in Elyria City Schools and was a creative soul who enjoyed drawing, writing, and rapping. He loved spending time with his family, especially his children and grandchildren, who meant everything to him.

He leaves to cherish his memory his parents, Percy and Shawna; his spouse, Christina; his children: Angelina, Adam Jr., Evyanna, Emily, Evalece, Elicia, Essence, E’Lias, and Elaysia; and his grandchildren: Amarion, Ky’Air, Aalani, and Armani, along with a host of siblings, nieces, nephews, and loved ones.

He was preceded in death by his grandfather, Orry Howard; his uncle, Orry Howard Jr.; his mother, Tracie Sprinkle; and siblings Adrian, Jamelro, Aaron, and Antwan.

Adam will be deeply missed and forever remembered.

A visitation will be held on Monday April 6, 2026, at 12pm with a Celebration of Life to follow at 1pm located at Carter Funeral Home 127 W. Bridge St. Elyria, OH.
