ANTHONY KENT HARRIS

ANTHONY KENT HARRIS 60, of Lorain, Ohio departed this life Friday December 16th, 2022, surrounded by family following a brief illness. Born July 5, 1962, in Lorain, Ohio to Louise Cannon and the late Willie B. Harris. He attended Southview and Warren G. Hardy High Schools and obtained his bachelor's degree from Ashland University.

He enjoyed playing cards, dominos and hanging out with his friends and family. He was a family chef and Grill Master.  Anthony cherished spending time with his great nieces and nephews, working out daily and listening to music. He spent time giving back to the community by volunteering with the Pathway Enrichment Center. 

He leaves to mourn in his departure his son Matthew Wetzel, Mother, Louise Cannon, Sisters: Gertie Mae Wyrick of Magnolia, Arkansas, Brenda Tipton, Mary Crum, Kathryn Randle Esther Harris, Juanita (Tyrone) Harris all of Lorian, Karen (Keith) Brank of Elyria and Diane Cannon of Houston, Texas. Brother Jason (Dana) Brannon of North Olmsted, Ohio and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins', other relatives and friends.

Anthony was preceded in death by his father Willie B. Harris, Stepfather Carter Cannon, Paternal Grandparents: Aldie Hunt, Earvine Harris, Maternal Grandparents: Estelle Malbury and William Murry.

Services will be held at Greater Noel Tabernacle COGIC 3529 Ada Ave. Lorain, Ohio 44055, Thursday December 22, 2022. Visitation will be from 10-11am and service will begin at 11. Pastor Wilbert L. Wofford Jr. will officiate.
