Willie "Bill" J. Roberts

Willie J. “Bill” Roberts 85, of Elyria went home to be with the Lord on February 19, 2019 following a short illness. He was born in Bentonia, MS coming to Elyria in 1960. Mr. Roberts was employed as an auto body technician for Stang Motors retiring in 1998 aka Abraham Buick of Elyria. Bill was a member of Bethany Baptist Church of Elyria, a member of the Iron Stallions Motorcycle Club of Lorain where he served as vice-president for many years. He enjoyed cooking especially his Bar-B-que ribs, bowling, baseball and spending time with family and friends. He will be sadly missed by his daughters: Carla (Mark) Inman of Elyria and Callie Mae Haczynski of Illinois, son Twayne Boles of Memphis, TN, sister Ella Mae Roberts of Chicago, IL, grandchildren: Alexis Inman, Marques Inman and Felicia Outlaw and a host of great-grandchildren and other relatives. He was preceded in death by his wife Ursa Lee Roberts, an infant son, his parents LT Roberts and Velma Wesby, brother L.C. Robertson and Walter Johnson, a grandson Mario James. A special Thank you to the staff at O’Neil Health Care Center in North Ridgeville for the care of Mr. Roberts. Friends will be received on Tuesday, February 26, 2019 from 10:00 a.m. until time of service at 11:00 a.m. in the Bethany Baptist Church, 334 17th Street, Elyria, OH. Rev. J.
