Robert Mauldin, 82 of Oberlin, Ohio passed away peacefully in the Life Care Center of Elyria following a brief illness. He was born in Demopolis, AL coming to Elyria in 1966 and moving to Oberlin, Ohio in 2001. He was employed at York International as a tow motor driver, retiring in 1998.

Mr. Mauldin was a previous member of Macedonia Church of God in Christ where he served as a Deacon of the church. He enjoyed bike riding, motorcycling, talking on the CB where his handle was Big 4, and he enjoyed fishing and spending time with his sister, family and friends.

He is survived by his wife Mary Mauldin of 50 years, sons, Jeffery Mauldin of Lorain, Ohio, Robert L. Mauldin of Oberlin, Ohio, Robert Jr., and Randy. Daughters, Diann, Bobbie and Sandra. Sister, Carrie Shelton, a host of grandchildren, nieces, nephews and other relatives.

Preceded in death by his parents Helen May and Lawrence Mauldin, daughter Helen, brothers M.C., Richard and Roy.

Friends may call Friday, September 8, 2017 at 10:00 am until time of service at 11:00 am in the Macedonia Church of God in Christ, 233 Bell Avenue, Elyria.
