RITA L. ANDERSON of Elyria, Ohio transitioned on October 23, 2019 surrounded by friends and family. She was a lifelong resident of Lorain County and was known for her excellent cooking, unyielding love and ever ready smile. Rita had a smile so bright it would light up any room she stepped into. Even though she is not here with us in the flesh, her spirit lives one in every recipe she shared, every smile in every photo, and every memory.

Rita’s homegoing celebration will be held at Antlers Ballroom 300 Washington Avenue Lorain, Ohio on Monday, November 4th. The viewing begins at 11 a.m. and the service will follow at 12 p.m. If friends and family would like to send flowers, cards, etc., you may send them to the Carter Funeral Home 3001 Elyria Ave, – in Lorain.
