Obit of Qiana C. Newton-Hampton Qiana C. ‘Qiki’ Newton 38, of Elyria got her wings on March 19, 2019, in the University Hospital of Cleveland following a sudden illness. A lifelong resident of Elyria, she attended Elyria High School. Mrs. Newton was a homemaker and a part of A New and Living Way Ministry in Lorain. She enjoyed shopping, doing hair, makeup, dressing, decorating her home and being around family and friends. She will be sadly missed by her husband Thomas Hampton of Elyria, her children: Ariana, Mekhi, Antwan, Aysia, Nafir, Khamani, Kiante, Aniyah, Ava and Shaliyah, parents: Charles Ransom lll, and Bridget Y. Newton, sisters: Leslie, Charlene, Sharde, Amari, Annette, Shawntobia and Raquel, brothers: Tristan, Brandon, Anthony, Neil and Ryan, maternal grandparents: Robert and Betty Newton, paternal grandparent: Charles Ransom ll and a host of uncles, aunts, nieces, nephews and other relatives. She was preceded in death by a sister Amanda, a brother Derek, grandmother Lula Ransom, mother-in-law Mary Ann Hampton. Friends will be received on Wednesday, March 27, 2019 from 11:00 a.m. until time of service at 12:00 p.m. in the Faith Ministries Christian Center, 1306 Euclid Ave, Lorain, OH 44052, where Diana Lindsay is Pastor.
