Pearlene “Ms. Pearl” Shumpert 62 of Lorain went home to be with the lord on November 6, 2017 in the Mercy Hospital following

a long illness.She was born in Tupelo, Mississippi coming to Lorain 40 years ago She enjoyed cooking, singing, praying, and being with family and friends.

She will be sadly missed by her daughter, Cassandra Shumpert and her grandchildren; Caryssa and Sayon Sako all of Columbus, Ohio.

Brother; Andrew Shumpert of Tupelo, Mississippi and sister;Mary Shumpert of Lorain, Ohio. A host of nieces, nephews and 2 special nieces; Yvonne and Cameron Watkins, and 1 nephew; Jerome Watkins.She was preceded in death by her parents and brother; Talbert Lee

Pastor Rodney Thomas, will officiate. Burial will be at Elmwood Cemetery, Lorain.
