Patrica McGhee Obituary

Patricia McGhee 58, of Elyria, passed away on April 17, 2019, unexpectedly at her home.

Patricia was born in Elyria to Joe and Margaret Jackson on October 23, 1960. She graduated from Elyria High Class of 1980. Mrs. McGhee was a homemaker. Patricia enjoyed traveling, singing, cooking, playing bingo, and most of all she enjoyed being with her family and friends.

She will be sadly missed by her daughter: Leandra Jackson of Elyria, father Joe (Frieda) Jackson, Jr., of Hillsboro, OH, sisters: Marnele Jackson, of Elyria, Carole (Roy) Jackson-Arnett of Lorain, and brother: William ‘Bubbie’ Jackson of Lorain.

She was preceded in death by her mother Margaret Jackson-Mooney, grandparents Ezell and Joe Jackson, Sr., brothers Eddie and Geoffrey Jackson.

Friends and family will be received on Wednesday, April 24, 2019, from 5:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. in the Carter Funeral Home Chapel, 127 W. Bridge St., Elyria, OH 44035 and on Thursday, April 25, 2019 from 10:00 a.m. to 11:00 a.m. at Faith Ministries Christian Center, 1306 Euclid Ave., Lorain, OH 44052 with The Celebration of Life Service immediately following. Pastor Diana Lindsay is the officiant. Burial will follow in Brookdale Cemetery, Elyria, OH 44035. Online at carterfuneralhome@yahoo.com
