Mozelle "MO" Lynch

Mozelle “Mo” Lynch (79) of Elyria received her wings on February 23, 2019 following a long illness.

She was born in Talladega, Alabama, coming to Elyria in November, 1968.

Mrs. Lynch was employed at General Motor Fisher Body in Elyria in the casting Department, retiring in 2004.

She was a member of MT Zion in Elyria, were she served as an usher and a member of the order of Eastern Stars Martha Chapter #35 of Oberlin, Oh., were she served as Worthy Matron and Past Commandress of Al’Laim Court#205 of Elyria.

She enjoyed bowling, cooking, crocheting and talking on her CB radio using the handle of Mother Nature and being with her family and friends.

She will be sadly missed by her husband of 54 years, Wilder Lynch of Elyria; son, Theron Lynch of Elyria; daughter, Mona Lynch of Washington, DC.; and son, Christopher( Kesha) Lynch of North Carolina; 11 grandchildren, 5 great-grandchildren and a host of nieces, nephews and cousins.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Henderson and Everlean Cole; brothers, Arnold Lee Garrett and Carbin; sisters, Nona Mae Cole and Hazel Tuck.

Friends may call on Friday, March 1, 2019 at 6:30 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. with order of Eastern Star service at 7:00 p.m. “Martha Chapter #35” in the Carter Funeral Home Chapel, 127 W. Bridge St., Elyria, OH 44035. 

Home Going Service is Saturday, March 2, 2019 in the Mount Zion Baptist Church, 632 W. River Rd. North, Elyria, from 10a.m. until time of service at 11a.m. Rev. Calvin Curry will officiate.
