Minister Annie Lou Taylor, 95, transitioned into the arms of the Lord, Monday, March 19, 2018 at University Hospitals Elyria Memorial Center, following a brief illness. She was born in Winchester, Tennessee, coming to Elyria Ohio 71 years ago.
Minister Taylor was a homemaker and co-founder of WJTB 1040 AM. She was a faithful member of the Original Church of God where she taught Women’s Bible Study and served on numerous committees. She enjoyed reading and studying the bible, teaching, preaching, helping those in need, and shopping.
She leaves to mourn her passing, and celebrate her life; son, James Taylor of Elyria; daughter, Walterine Kitrell (Edward) of Bermerton, Washington; 9 grandchildren, 11 great-grandchildren; 13 great- great grandchildren; a host of nieces, nephews, and other relatives.
She was proceeded in death by her husband, Deacon Robert J Taylor; son, Albert Lane Taylor; parents, Edward and Alberta Tipps; 2 sisters and 3 brothers.
Friends may call on Saturday, March 31, 2018 in the Original Church of God, 512 Edward St., Elyria, OH 44035 from 9:30 a.m. until time of service at 11:00 a.m. Elder Ernest J. McKinney Jr. will Eulogist .Burial will be at Brookdale Cemetery, Elyria.
