Michelle Burnett

  Michelle ‘Nell’ Burnett 62, of Lorain, went home to be with Lord on Thursday, November 1, 2018. She was born in Chattanooga, TN spending most of her life in Lorain. Nell as she was fondly called, was a member of New Bethel Primitive Baptist Church, where she served as a member of the gospel ensemble, gospel unity, mass choir, kitchen committee and pastors’ aide or wherever she was needed. She was employed as a Teller for Lormet Federal Credit Union, a Salvation Army Volunteer of Lorain and a member of Women on the Move. Nell enjoyed cooking, line dancing, traveling, going to church, and spending time with her children, grandchildren and taking care of her mother. She will be missed by her daughters: Katina L. Smith and Camilla J. Smith both of Lorain, son: Michael A. Smith of Lorain, 10 grandchildren, mother: Jannie Burnett of Lorain, sisters: Felise Burnett of Huntsville, AL, Cathy Goines of Lorain, Cynthia Burnett of Louisville, KY, Robyne (Morris, Sr.) Smith of Lorain, brothers: Stephen (Lizzie) Burnett of Lorain, OH, Bryan Burnett of Huntsville, AL, Marvin Burnett of Lorain, a host of nieces, nephews, cousins and other relatives. She was preceded in death by father: Rev. T. J. Burnett. Friends may call on Friday, November 9, 2018 from 11:00 a.m. until time of service at 12:00 p.m. in the New Bethel Primitive Baptist Church, 3880 Dayton Ave., Lorain, OH 44052. Pastor Tyrone Holley will be Officiating. Burial in Ridge Hill Memorial Park Cemetery, Amherst, OH 44001.
