Lillie Mae Johnson

Lillie Mae Johnson 83, was born in Tyler, Alabama on July 24, 1934. Lillie was the daughter of the late Laura Mae Daniels and the late Eddie Daniels. Mrs. Johnson joined in Holy Matrimony to the late Robert “Bubba” Johnson. Mrs. Johnson professed in Christ at an early age and upon moving to Elyria, Ohio later united with Jones Chapel AME. She leaves to mourn her loss: one step-sister Martha Daniels of Detroit, MI and a host of nieces and nephews. Lillie had no children of her own, but loved her nieces and nephews as her own. Lillie was preceded in death in death by her parents Eddie and Laura Mae Daniels, 2 sisters Laura Mae Beckett and Prevella Gillespie and a brother Robert “Pooball” Poole. Friends may call on Friday February 23, 2018 from 12:00 p.m. until time of service at 1:00 p.m. in the Carter Funeral Home Chapel, 127 West Bridge St., Elyria, OH 44035. Rev. Dr. Carl P.
