Lehman"Bobby" Tomlin III

Bobby strummed his last chord of life on Tuesday December 10, 2019.  Bobby was a skilled guitarist and an avid musician.  He was best known for his guitar riffs and musical showmanship as he performed many years with his good friends and fellow bandmates of the locally renown “STARBAN”. 

Bobby’s witty personality,  keen sense of humor, and intellectual genius was recognized by those that knew and loved him most.  A Jack of all Trades, Bobby was a co-affiliate of Stage Right night club and Family PC Repair Store.  He worked for various computer agencies in the Northeast area.

Bobby is survived and greatly missed by his three children: Amber Tomlin, VaLone Tomlin both of Columbus, Ohio. Nickoleus Washington (Amerika) Lorain, Ohio. Step-son William Ross (Meggan) , sister Jani Eldemire (Rupert), Uncle Bill Ogle(Betty) and Aunt Ruth Johnson (Alan) all of Elyria, Ohio and Great Aunt Emma”Kitty” Smith of Oberlin, Ohio. Five grandchildren, a niece, nephew and a host of friends and family.  

Bobby was preceded in death by his loving mother Jani M. Tomlin. Father, Rev. Dr. Lehman R. Tomlin Jr.; Uncle Hardy Ogle and Grandparents King and Henri Mae Ogle.

The family will receive friends on Wednesday, December 18 from 10 a.m. until the time of the funeral service  at 11 a.m. at the Cathedral of Praise Worship and Family Center 4545 Elyria Ave. Lorain, Ohio where Bishop Melvin L. Brown is Pastor and officiate.
