Lamar Marcus Capers, 32, of Elyria, passed away Monday, November 24, 2014.

A lifelong resident of Elyria Mr. Capers worked in the food service field and was a laborer for Bendix Corp. of Elyria. He was an avid sports fan and enjoyed entertaining his family with his jokes.

He will be sadly missed by his daughters, Dynasty, Amaree, and Mariah; son, Tamar; mother, Rosemary Capers-Bromley; father, Zachary M. Bromley of Toledo; brother, Zachary of Columbus; sister, Jardae Swift of Elyria; maternal grandmother, Pearline Capers of Elyria; paternal grandparents, TL Flowers of Elyria and Caroline Harris of Woodbridge, Virginia; paternal great-grandmother, Annie Mae Henderson of Elyria and a host of nieces and nephews and other relatives.

He was preceded in death by his maternal grandfather, Roosevelt Capers, Jr.; paternal great-grandparents, Edward and Mildred Bromley.

Friends may call Monday, December 1, 2014 in the Carter Funeral Home Chapel, 127 West Bridge St., Elyria, from 11 A.M. until time of services at 12 Noon. Evangelist Gertrude Copper of Call Out of Almighty God, will officiate. Burial will be in Brookdale Cemetery, Elyria
