Jeffery "Q" or "Sloog" L Donald Sr.

Jeffrey L. “Q” or “Sloog” Donald Sr. passed away peacefully on October 15, 2019 following a short illness. A lifelong resident of Lorain and a graduate of AKHS class of 1982 and was a veteran of the US Army, station in FT. Polk, LA.

Mr. Donald was employed at BSM (aka) Mullers Foods as an operator mixer for the past 17 years, and was an avid sports fan of Boston, Celtics; Dallas, Cowboys; and Ohio State Buckeyes.

He will be missed by his children, Brandon Wade, Jeffery Donald Jr., Jaylen Blackwell, all of Elyria, OH; Jasmine Donald, Britney Howse and Ciara Johnson both of Lorain, OH.; 4 grandchildren; parents, Prince and Emma D. Donald; sisters, Beverly Donald of Elyria, OH., Pastor Dana (Jeffery) Capers, and Regina Donald, both of Lorain, OH., brothers: Richard Fluker of Elyria, Gerald (Valerie) Donald, and Prince L. (Terri) Donald of Meridian, MS.

He was preceded in death by his maternal grandparents, D.R. and Sudie Horn; paternal grandparents, Haywood and Pennie Donald; and a host of other relatives and friends.

Friends may call on October 25, 2019 in the New Mt. Calvary Baptist Church 2340 Crehore St., Lorain, OH. From 10:00am until time of service at 12:00noon. Pastor Jeffery Capers will be the Eulogist. Burial in Ridge Hill Cemetery, Amherst, OH.
