Jay Holt (48) of Elyria received his wings on August 6, 2018 in the EMH Regional Medical Center. He was born in Harrisburg, Pa., on June 6, 1970.

Jay enjoyed Nascar racing, cooking shows, and a Pittsburgh Steers Fan.

He was survived by his parents, Roland and Beverly Holt; wife of 12 years, Cathi Holt; children, DeJa Smith, Brandi Holt, Kayla Hodges, Kiara Matthews, Jahari Holt, Jay Holt Jr., DeAndre Holt, Christian Beasley; Maurice Williams; Maurnita Williams; brothers, Randy(Debbie) Holt of Harrisburg, Pa., James(Jennifer) Holt of Sandusky, Oh., Brandon Holt of Toledo, Oh., and 4 nieces, 1 nephew, and 5 grandchildren.

He was proceeded in death by his maternal grandparents, Jimmy and Viola Randolph; paternal grandparents, Roland and Edna Holt; aunt, Sherdina Sewell.

Friends may call on Monday, August 13, 2018 at the Original Glorious Apostolic, 995 Foster Ave, Elyria; from 11:30am until time of service at 12:00 noon, Pastor Doris Williams will officiate. Funeral arrangements entrusted to Carter Funeral Homes, Inc., 127 W. Bridge St., Elyria, OH 44035.
