Obit of Janet Searight Janet Marie Stanford Charlton-Searight 72 of Lorain gained her musical wings on April 6, 2019, in New Life Hospice, following a brief illness. She graduated from Admiral King High School. Her love of music could be heard from morning to into the night. She always adored her children and her childrens’ friends. During the summer months Janet would always take a car load of children for ice cream and music loudly playing. This was her true happiness…music and kids. She leaves behind to cherish her wonderful memory: Anita ‘Nene’ Johnson, Joseph ‘Joey’ Charlton, Jesse ‘JD’ Charlton, siblings: Charlene (Steve) Washington-Curry and Sylvia ‘Yoyo’ Stanford, grandchildren: Marla (Demetrius), Ciera, Antione Thomas, Shanelle Thomas, Marque Thomas, and Ebony Charlton, great-grandchildren: Larry B, Zas Ureank, Karon K, Jacob C, Bracylyn T, Braxton T, Tashaun T, Jayden T, Layla T, Audre T, Shawn, Kumarion, Kumariyana and Aumari and great great-grandchild Kaylyn She was preceded in death by parents Jesse and Ruby Standford, husband Gregory Searight, sister Marva Sanford and grandson Brandon Charlton Friends will be received from 2:00p.m. until time of service at 3:00 p.m. in the Carter Funeral Home Chapel, 3001 Elyria Ave., Lorain, OH Rev.
