James Allgood

James S. “Chief” Allgood 62, of Elyria, passed away after a long illness. James was born May 11,1957 to Arlean Allen(nee Sheperd) and Walter Allgood Jr. in Elyria, Oh. James loved to fish, hunt, and hang out with family.

James leaves to cherish his daughters, Vanetta(Thaddeus) Blackwell, of Winchester, TN, Lameda (Eric) Palmer of Colorado Springs, CO.,: sons, James Allgood Jr. of Dayton, OH. and Michael Allgood of Columbus, OH; brothers, Anthony Allgood of Cleveland, OH., Ricky Allgood of Grafton, OH., Tim(Tina) Allgood of Elyria, Oh., Tommy Perkins of Elyria, OH., Bruce Allen of Jacksonville, FL.; 6 grandchildren, 1 great-grandchild, and a host of nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles, and cousins.

James was preceded in death by his mother, Arlean Allen; father, Walter Allgood Jr.; brothers, Dwight Perkins and Michael Allen

Friends may call Wednesday, October 23, 2019 from 10:00 a.m. until time of service at 11:00 a.m. in the Carter Funeral Home Chapel, 127 W. Bridge St. Elyria, OH 44035. Pastor Shawn Cleveland will officiate.
