Gloria Maxwell

Gloria Ann Maxwell went home to glory on Friday, September 6, 2019, following a brief illness. Gloria worked as a CNA throughout Lorain County for many years. She loved her sports especially football and reading Harlequin Romance books.
She leaves to cherish memory, her mother: Zorn Maxwell, daughters: Jacqueline Long (Ike), Carmen Hammond (Leron) and Lera Maxwell, sisters: Robin Smith, Darlene Sanders (Robert), Marsha Martin (Leslie), Andrea Lurry (Ricky), and a  brother: Isaac Maxwell and her grandchildren whom she adored, Michael Truitt (Nastassia), Lori Harris, Courtney Harris, Zhane Harris, Quention Nolen, Dalaysia Maxwell, Isaac Long Jr.; great-grandchildren, Careton Simms, Kah’Niek Harris, and 24 nieces and nephews and a host of great nieces and nephews; special friend, Karen Ganch.
She was preceded in death by her father: Walter Maxwell III, brothers: Darryl Maxwell, Bernard Maxwell, a sister Loretta Dukes (Howard), and granddaughter Ikeia Long.
Friends will be received on Friday, September 13, 2019, from 10:00 a.m. until time of service at 12:00 p.m. in the Unity Baptist Church, 326 Fuller Rd, Elyria, OH 44035, (440) 322-8907. Pastor Addie Nolen is the Eulogist. Burial in Brookdale Cemetery, Elyria, OH 44035
