Gerald Beane

Gerald Beane stepped into eternity on Tuesday, April 17, 2018. He was born February 3, 1943 in Elyria, to Charles and Edna Beane, he was the youngest of seven children, Robert, Calvin, Charlene, Darlene, Dorathy and Mary.

He attended Midview High school and spent time traveling until he returned to Elyria, where he worked at Elyria Memorial Hospital as a Physical Therapy Assistant until he retired. In his later years, he was a beloved resident of North Ridge Health Center and Westlake Rehab and Nursing Center.

Gerald enjoyed attending church, listening to gospel music and caring for his flowers. Most of all he loved the Lord. He had a great sense of humor, a wonderful spirit and a contagious laugh.

He is survived by his sisters, Dorathy Jean Larkins and Mary Louise Williams; many cousins, nieces and nephews.

A memorial service will be held Saturday, May 12, 2018 in two locations, Faith Baptist Church, 7233 Pearl Rd., Middleburg Heights at 10 A.M. and Carter Funeral Home, 127 W. Bridge St., Elyria at 1 P.M.
