Obit for Donald “George” Foster
Donald “George” Foster of Elyria gained his wings on Saturday, September 28th, 2019 in the Heartland Hospice of Elyria, following.
He was born in Eutaw, Alabama, coming to Ohio in the 1970’s from Chicago.
Mr. Foster was employed with Elyria Board of Education, retiring after 20 years of service and worked at the Casper Foundry of Wellington.
Mr. Foster enjoyed driving, watching western, especially Clint Eastwood, and astrology.
He leaves to cherish his memories are his wife, Regina Gilliam; sons, Donald (Erica) Gilliam, Adrian (Alyssa) Foster, Brandon Foster; and daughters, Donzell Gilliam, Laura President- Brown, Shelia Stribling; and 16 grandchildren; sister, Mary (Joe) Wade of Elyria; host of nieces, nephews, and cousins.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Amos and Mellie Foster; sister, Carrie Willmer and Mary Rhome.
Friends may call Saturday, October 5, 2019 in the Carter Funeral Home Chapel 127 West Bridge St, Elyria. From 12:00 noon until time of service at 1:00 P.M. Pastor Dempsey Noble will officiate.
